“Nowadays, the computer is used more and more both at work and at home. In the work place, it used to be the case that the computer made the difference between the efficient employee - and a better paid employee, for that - and the inefficient one. Today this difference is made by how efficiently you use a computer. For that, you need basic knowledge. Since nobody has the time to test the knowledge of a candidate before hiring, it is advisable that this knowledge be certified.
